Since its inception less than a-decade-ago, Mr Porter has established itself as an esteemed authority in the high-end online men’s clothing, accessories, dress shoes, and footwear space. On top of the more-than-450 leading fashion brands carried by the UK-based site, Mr Porter also dabbles in producing its own ever-expanding range of men’s garments, and now, for the first time since the collection’s launch in 2013, it’s ventured into the evening ware sector, delivering its inaugural tuxedo.
Boasting a modern, slim-fit cut, the Mr P. suit is made from premium wool, while its internal materials were selected to maximize comfort. Part of the Massenet-owned outfit’s Mr P. Collection, the new tux is comprised of three items; a slim-fit shawl-collar faille-trimmed single-button jacket with viscose lining and buffalo horn buttons; a pair of grosgrain-trimmed drawstring trousers with a silk (70%) and polyester (30%) lining; and a ribbed bib-front white cotton shirt with mother of pearl buttons. Like the rest of the offerings that constitute the Mr P. Collection, the new tux puts a contemporary and fashion-forward spin on a timeless men’s jackets and other clothing staples. Designed to be paired with other items from the collection, the Mr P. tuxedo can be had for around $715 for the trio of items.
