Is it a speaker? Are they headphones? With the Sphere, Motorola has taken a far-out concept and made it a reality. Billed as a first-of-its-kind 2-in-1 Bluetooth speaker with detachable headphones, the Motorola Sphere speaker is a futuristic new piece of technology with some pretty awesome features.

The spherical, super-powered audio device boasts two 8W speakers beneath its shell, each pumping a bass-driven clean sound. It has 20 hours of play time and doubles as a headphone charging port. Plus, if you ever feel like getting up and going, you can simply remove the headphones that dock onto the sphere and take your music on the run. Water and dust resistant, the Motorola Sphere is the audiophile’s perfect in-home speaker system.
