Motorola Moto Z Mods

Sliding an extra battery pack or an appealing looking cover onto your smartphone is a tendency as old as the devices themselves. The reason why? We want both more utility out of our phones and to make them unique to us – which is exactly why the popularity of modular phones is on the rise. Motorola is now tapping into the trend with their newly released Moto Z and Moto Mods.

If you are looking to get a bit more juice out of your phone, all you have to do is throw the magnetized Incipio offGRID Power Pack on the back. Strong magnets on both the pack and phone will hug the two together for a snug fit and lots of extra juice. A speaker attachment from JBL and Projector attachment (yeah, you read that right) work in much the same way – just clip the phone together with the mod and you suddenly have a much more capable phone. That isn’t to say the Moto Z isn’t powerful without these, though. Boasting an impressive 5.5 inch quad HD screen phone, a finger-print ID, and TurboPower Charging that lets users get 8 hours of battery life in 15 minutes – it’ll be a force to contend with when it comes out later this year.
