Motoped Motorized Bicycle

We’ve been looking for a new DIY project to get our hands on, and the Motoped motorized bicycle is right up our alley.

There’s a good chance you’ve got an old mountain bike lying around that no longer sees the light of day. This Motoped conversion kit allows you to transform that old pedal powered 2 wheeler into a gas powered adventure vehicle that’s ready for anything you can throw at it from dirt to tarmac. You will need to pick yourself up a Honda 50-190cc motor along with some other misc parts, but the Motoped kit is quite extensive, and for $1,000, you get everything from the frame and swing arm to sprockets and exhaust. The bike conversion kit is currently looking for funding on Kickstarter. See it in action below.
