It’s no secret we’re fans of blacked-out everything. From clothing to cars to pocket knives. If it’s sharp, tears across the asphalt, and is stylish and dark – we’re in. So when we came across this coal-colored Moto Guzzi that was given the “treatment” from Belarus-based Recast Moto, let’s just say our dark souls became highly intrigued.
The build in question here began as a ’99 Moto Guzzi Nevada 750 that shop owner Matiz Lemark wanted to outfit into a classic scrambler with a blacked-out aesthetic. To start things off the crew decided to swap out the stock gas tank for that of a Honda CB750 instead to help emphasize the Moto Guzzi lines. From here, they moved to the wheels, where Lemark opted for new 18” spoked rims wrapped in Heidenau K60 120/90s. The rear of the bike was also modified for new shocks to be mounted, while the front shocks were shortened by about four inches. Finally, a T&T speedo adorned in brass was added, along with plugs for the front damper, new mirrors, and grips from a snowmobile of all things. Oh yeah, and everything was finished with a sleek black paint job of course.
