Moto Guzzi MGX-21 Prototype

Even besides the models, there was a lot of beauty on display at the 2014 EICMA show in Milan, or 2014 Esposizione Internazionale Ciclo Motociclo e Accessori if you’re up on your Italian. And on the short list of the most dazzling visuals seen has to have been the MGX-21 Prototype from Moto Guzzi.

A reworked Moto Guzzi California 1400, this carbon fiber-loaded (including the disc wheels) cruiser features long, flowing lines, a subtly aggressive matte black paint job with just a few choice red highlights, and a 21” front tire. There’s no word yet as to whether this beautiful creation will ever go from prototype to production, but if Moto Guzzi heard the numerous catcalls, we’d say there’s a good chance it’ll materialize someday.
