With all this Brexit news hogging the headlines as of late, it’s nice to see some unity in the British Isles. Selfridges and Morgan are two well-known British brands that up until now hadn’t collaborated on much of anything. However, with both brands looking to capitalize on green energy and sustainability, their paths met in a fantastic manner with this three-wheeled electric vehicle acting as the fruit of that endeavor.
Dubbed the UK 1909 Edition EV3, this three-wheeled vehicle pulls from Morgan’s engineering prowess in the industry with Selfridges’ iconic fashion appeal. The limited edition E3, in turn, boasts quite a beautiful aesthetic, offering a piece that’s not only pleasing to the eye but quick and comfortable for the driver. The look is motivated by the 1930’s aero engine race cars and automatons of the 1950s. It reaches a top speed of 90 miles per hour, boasts a range of 120-150 miles depending on how it’s driven, and is limited to an edition of 19, an ode to the year 1909 when both companies were founded.
