Category: Tech

Finally cut the cord with the Mophie wireless juice packs. From the same company that brought us the ultra-popular batteries will now feature wireless charging; the latest and greatest technological feature in our ever-connected world. On top of that, the Juice Pack will be compatible with wireless charging base technology such as the Q1 and Samsung’s own charging pads.

Release is planned in conjunction with Samsung’s Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge and will add an extra 60 percent battery life to those devices. In user terms, this allows for 11 additional hours of talk time, four hours of web browsing, seven hours of video playback, and a whopping 28 hours of music playback. These numbers increase with the S7 Edge. Each Juice Pack protects the device using Mophie’s impact-isolation system, adding extra cushion to the edges and corners of the protective case. Colors will be made available in black and rose gold, though a release date hasn’t been set, the price for each Juice Pack is set at $100. [Purchase]
