Though mophie got its start producing headphones in 2005, the Zagg-owned subsidiary has since become one of the market leaders in the mobile power bank sector. And despite already boasting an expansive mobile charger lineup, mophie has now revealed its latest mobile-charging device with the powerstation wireless XL.
At the heart of the tech, gadget is a 10,000mAh Lithium-ion battery that can recharge an iPhone X 3.5-times over (or an Airpods Pro case 25-times or a 7th Gen iPad Pro almost twice). The new mophie device also packs two-way 18w Fast Charging-compatible USB-C and a Lightning port. And while the device does have a Qi pad for wireless charging, what really separates the powerstation wireless XL from other existing mophie offerings is its ability to wirelessly charge the power bank itself, in theory eliminating the need to ever carry any cords. There’s also an LED battery level indicator, so you’ll always have an approximate sense of how much juice you have remaining. Priced at $100, the mophie powerstation wireless XL is available for purchase now.
