Moonshine: A Gentleman’s Cologne
Ya gotta like the moxie on the part of EastWest Bottlers, the makers of Moonshine: A Gentleman’s Cologne. Because not only does moonshine traditionally not smell spectacular, but moonshiners themselves have also rarely graced the cover Pleasant Aromas magazine. So, yeah, it’s a bold move.
But this Dallas, Texas-based crew “made up of novice perfumers” says the blend of black pepper, tobacco, leather, gin, and patchouli they’ve come up with yields a classically masculine scent that will conjure up images of “having a drink, accompanied by a paper and a pipe, on the porch on a warm summer’s night.” Gee, that sounds pretty nice. Each 3.4 fl. oz. bottle is handcrafted in the US and it comes with some nifty wooden packaging. [Purchase]
