Moleskine Livescribe Notebook

Paper will surely never completely go away, but we’re already feeling a little twinge of nostalgia for it when we see products like Moleskine’s new Livescribe Notebook.

It looks like a typical Moleskine, but in this case, when you use the Livescribe Smartpen on it, your notes and sketches also automatically back up to your iPad. The pen knows exactly where the lines, margins, and buttons of the Moleskine paper are, so it also knows when the pen is hitting the pad. Tap one of the three small icons at the bottom of a page and it gets tagged, letting you easily pull it up on your tablet. Other neat features include the ability to record audio for your page and pull-out bookmarks that enable more functions, though granted, that’s also doable with Livescribe’s own notebook. [Purchase]
