Modern Speedshop Type One Garage in Japan, Tokyo
In Tokyo, Japan modern design elements reign supreme, and the latest garage redesign done by the team at Torafu Architects proves just that.
The design team performed a complete renovation of an auto repair shop belonging to Speedshop Type One, transforming the place from an ordinary old garage to a showroom-auto repair shop. The goal for the design time was to create a space where Speedshop Type One could perform their automotive work while also providing a showroom experience to “wow” customers. The end result is an ultra sleek garage covered in several hues of grey that allow the colorful collection of customized vehicles to really stand out.
