There are beach houses, and then there are beach houses. When it comes to waterfront properties, few rival the awesomeness that is the Mirage House.

Spanning 198 square meters, this magnificent residence was designed by the the talented team at Kois Architecture. The dwelling is perched high on a steep, rocky hillside on the beautiful Greek islands of Tinos. So where’s the actual house? Good question. The interior will be built into the hillside, buried in the landscape. The infinity pool (along with locally sourced stone and retained Earth) provide a roof for the outdoor patio section, perfect for enjoying those panoramic views of the Aegean Sea. This particular design was utilized in order to provide thermal insulation for the guests in addition to also protecting them from solar radiation. The home has yet to be completed, but will feature three bedrooms and a spacious kitchen in addition to that amazing outdoor space once finished.
