Mobile Photovoltaic Cube House Camper

With all the advanced technology today serving as a distraction for most people, it can be difficult to carve out time to escape into nature. Designers at the Shenyang Jianzhu University have created a convenient camper concept dubbed the Mobile Photovoltaic Cube House, which won the coveted Red Dot Award in 2018.

The most innovative part of this camper house is the telescopic camping tent capable of opening up like an accordion. The tent transforms into a cozy bedroom space fixed by stable brackets, providing a sleeping area for two adults and two kids. Inside the cube, you’ll find various necessities for backcountry sleepovers, including a transforming desk, water boiler, sink, cooking bench, television, and toilet. For electrical power, the top and side of the camp box are inset with photovoltaic panels. We’re definitely hoping this camp cube house will make it to production in 2019.
