Mobi Expands Its Off-Road Camper Line With The Fully-Outfitted ‘X’ Model

The original Mobi Nomad was one of our favorite campers when it first released. Since then, we’ve remained patient in our isolation, awaiting the reveal of the South-African outfit’s impending models. Now, our prayers have finally been answered with the Mobi X — a smaller, more refined take on the brand’s off-road-ready living structure.

Don’t let its miniature stature fool you — it still houses all of the intricacies that put the company on the map during its initial run. While in tow, the X’s expandable fiberglass/steel monohull remains refined and understated, calling upon two 265×70 16′ All-Terrain tires, a 2000 kilogram Knott German brake coupler, and a Burquip suspension system to help it navigate the world’s toughest terrain. On top of its galvanized chassis, the X boasts a bevy of interesting swing-out compartments and trays, allowing you to store food items, camping equipment, tools, and utensils. Within, a refrigerator, dual-burner stove, and fully-equipped kitchen can be accessed, complementing its two-person interior bed, fold-out bathroom, and outdoor shower expansion. An optional rooftop tent can also be utilized, allowing for up to six individuals to call the Mobi X home. Head to the brand’s website to pick up one of your own for $20,850.
