With the Detroit Auto Show set to kick off at the start of the new year, you can expect all of our favorite auto makers to be bringing their A-game for the event. BMW gave us a sneak peek at what’s to come with the unveiling of their Mini John Cooper Works Concept.

Unfortunately aside from some great shots, we don’t know much else about the vehicle – specifically the nuts and bolts. The 2-door is sporting an exclusive Bright Highways Grey paint job that has been accented with contrasting Mini red accents all throughout. Up front sees round LED headlights, and a black grille frame, while the rear has been outfitted with a diffuser insert and roof-mounted spoiler. Sporty 18-inch alloy wheels finish off the look for this Mini. Expect full details to emerge when the vehicle debuts at next month’s Detroit Auto Show.
