Mini Clubman All4 Scrambler
We cover plenty of motorcycles and automobiles on a daily basis, but rarely come across a two-for-one special (unless, of course, we hit up the neighboring PeKing Restaurant down the street for lunch). So it was a pleasant surprise to come across this monster of a Mini Clubman that pays tribute to the two-wheeled scrambler.
Its knobby tires are easily the most dominant feature and Mini did a fantastic job of borrowing subtle traits from the popular scrambler bike and integrating them into the Clubman’s design. Such features include a raised suspension, obviously the tires, and a scrambler badge on the back of the vehicle. It’s also fitted with all-wheel-drive, features two front spotlights that allude to the legendary rally cars of the ‘60s, and the interior is trimmed in tan leather and Alcantara. The Clubman’s body color also pays homage to the classic BMW RNineT bike. Father’s day anyone? It’s debuting now at the 2016 Salone dell’Auto Turino, which runs until June 12.
