Mil-Spec Hummer H1 ‘Launch Edition’ #005

It was sad to see the legendary humvee turn from a hardcore military-ready off-roader into the widely-despised soccer mom-friendly H2. Luckily, though that horrendous experiment has ended, there are still brands staying true to the vehicle’s legacy. One such brand is Mil-Spec Automotive, who have just announced their most bespoke creation to date, the Hummer H1 ‘Launch Edition’ #005.

One of just 12 commissioned vehicles for the 2018-2019 year, Mil-Spec is boasting that this beast exemplifies their “highest level of refinement” to date — including its high-contrast exterior, a completely bespoke interior (with backup cameras, security consoles, and a premium JL Audio marine-grade entertainment system). But don’t fret, it’s still plenty capable with a Duramax 6.6L LBZ turbodiesel engine capable of 500 horsepower and 1,000 foot-pounds of torque. Not to mention, it also boasts ceramic underbody protection, a textured polyurethane body coating, LED lighting, heavy-duty bumpers, ARB AirLocker differentials, and much more. All told, this monster 4×4 is the perfect blend of high-end luxury and off-road performance — but it’s not without a downside: a price tag of $249,000.

Purchase: $249,000
