Mil-Spec Hummer H1 Baja ‘Launch Edition’ #004

More than three years ago, the folks at Mil-Spec built their first production prototype Humvee, and boy was it an impressive specimen, to say the least. To illustrate just how far they’ve come while still paying homage to that original off-road vehicle, they’ve just unveiled a new version of their ‘Launch Edition’ Hummer H1, #004, for public consumption.

Powered by a Duramax diesel engine — capable of a whopping 500-horsepower and 1,000 foot-pounds of torque — mated to an Allison six-speed transmission, this monstrous 4×4 is certainly at home off the road. Which is all the more evident when you take a gander at its 40″ all-terrain tires (a special feature not normally offered for the Launch Edition). And while the outside is rugged enough to survive in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, the interior is plush and comfortable, boasting hand-stitched leather upholstery, A JL Audio sound system, and even remote start and keyless entry. For $249,000, this monolithic overlanding masterpiece can be yours.

Purchase: $249,000+
