Micro 3D Printer

3D printing is huge on the tech sites and geek blogs, but there are still more 5-legged cats roaming the streets than there are 3D printers in American homes. The wizards at M3D think they’re about to change that.

The Micro is being billed as the first truly affordable, consumer friendly printer ready for mass adoption. It’s meant for beginners as well experts; just plug it in, download or create your models, hit print, then watch the magic happen. M3D says one of the keys to the design is the Micro Motion Technology, a sensor and feedback system built into the print head, providing auto-leveling and auto-calibration, which promises to deliver thousands of hours of reliable use. As far as what you feed The Micro, you can use PLA or ABS, as well as their Micro filament spools or standard 1.75 mm filament spools. $199 gets you closer to evening the score with those cats.
