
With its sleek design and glowing parts, you’d think this futuristic machine looks like it came straight out of the sci-fi classic Tron. The Mercedes-Benz Vision EQS is a luxury ride with timeless elegance and advanced performance, paving the way for the German automobile manufacturer’s future.
Powered by electric motors at the front and rear axles, as well as a battery integrated into the car’s floor, the Vision EQS provides top-tier performance. It provides the driver with a 469-horsepower out[out and 560 lb-ft of torque, allowing you to shoot to 60mph in under 4.5 seconds. You can recharge the battery to 80% power in under 20 minutes, and drive around for up to 435 miles on a full charge with the 100 kWh battery capacity. The vehicle is also a work of are with its sweeping lines, glowing grille, and a continuous 360° illuminated strip that separates the black and silver colorways. The grille alone is packing 940 LEDs and the bodywork has 229 three-point star LEDs. When you zip through the night in this ride, you’ll be a glowing blur that lights up the darkness similar to a Light Cycle. You can find the Vision EQS at the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show, starting September 12.
