Ever since the unveiling of the 2022 EQS sedan, Mercedes-Benz has been steadily ramping up its efforts to round out its EV lineup. From the EQA crossover to the EQB SUV, the German-based automaker has already more than demonstrated its commitment to all-electric drivetrains. And the thing is — it’s only just getting started.
The latest vehicle to wear the EQ name comes in the form of a concept. Dubbed the ‘EQT,’ it’s essentially an electrified version of the Euro market T-Class commercial van (much like the Sprinter over here in the States). Up front, it wears an exaggerated, star-filled grille and some slim headlamps reminiscent of the Vision EQS Concept. Around the rest of the vehicle, you’ll find a lengthy panoramic sunroof, some sliding rear doors, and a set of electronically-controlled pop-out door handles — all elements designed to look the part whilst providing for some added practicality. That being said, the best part of the concept has to be the interior. For in addition to the massive MBUX infotainment screen, it also features recycled leather upholstery, completely removable third-row seating, as well as a trunk compartment with enough room for an included electric longboard.
