What happens when you drive a Mercedes-Benz Gran Turismo into the nearest body of water? Well…it’ll sink. But if you get a bunch of Mercedes Benz designers together with the yacht manufacturers at Silver Arrow, you’ll get something like this stunning Mercedes-Benz Arrow460-Granturismo Yacht.
One of these was shown in Monaco back in 2012, but not much was heard of the concept again up until now. Measuring in at just under 46 feet long and powered by two 440 horsepower Yanma diesel engines, this floating work of art can cruise at speeds of 28 knots on its way to a top speed of 38 knots, provided it isn’t weighed down with too much. If you are lucky enough to be an owner of one of these vessels – or just one of the ten passengers they can fit – you can enjoy an interior that takes its inspiration from Mercedes-Benz’s own line of vehicles. With nubuck leather on the seats, a polarizing smart glass, JBL and BOSE sound system – and chilled wine storage (why not?), you’ll be sailing in the lap of luxury. These are estimated to cost around $1.7 million each – limited to one per country.
