This year is already turning out to be a one for the books for Mercedes-AMG. The 2017 Geneva Motor Show is set to kick off here within a few weeks and Mercedes-AMG is celebrating their 50 Anniversary. Thankfully for us, those two events synchronized is a harmonies manner, motivating the German manufacturer to release their special edition GT C Roadster Edition 50.

Limited to just 500 worldwide, this ride is sure to be a crowd-pleaser at this year’s event. Under the hood is a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 that get the AMG from 0-62mph in 3.7 seconds and offers a top speed of 196 mph. The roadster also features a designo graphite gray magno finish with black chrome accents for a dignified yet sporty look. The interior hosts the timeless color scheme of black and silver along with the AMG Interior Night package coming stock with each vehicle. Finally, each headrest atop the AMG Performance seats is embossed with “GT Edition 50,” as to not let you soon forget this important milestone. Due for release next month in Geneva.
