Mercedes-AMG 4-Door GT Concept

For the sake of family fun for all, let’s hope this Mercedes-AMG GT four-door concept comes to fruition here in the near future. And to add a bit of fuel efficiency and allow Mercedes to show off their green thumb, the sedan is also a hybrid, but not to worry this thing still packs a serious punch.

Under the hood is a twin-turbo 4.0 liter V8, eerily similar to the one found in the regular GT couple. Pair that with an electric motor from the German manufacturer and this thing supposedly boasts an output of 805 horsepower. It’s enough power to get this sedan racing to 60 mph in under three seconds. Not bad right? The car also boasts several familiar characteristics to the coupe, such as active shutters on the grille, narrow taillights, and coupe-like fenders. Will this sedan make it to production? We’re thinking (and hoping) yes, especially with several other big players releasing similar builds at this year’s Geneva Motor Show.
