It was just over half a decade ago that Mean Metal Motors pulled the cover off of its M-Zero, a cutting-edge hypercar that was touted as India’s first electric performance model. However, with EV development having made tremendous technological leaps and bounds in the intervening years, the Indian EV outfit has now unveiled an updated model variant that’s said to be the most powerful version of the M-Zero yet.
Christened the “Azani,” this all-electric hypercar is constructed around a “Skateboard Aluminium Spaceframe” platform that’s been paired with a double-wishbone suspension setup with adaptive MR damping and a ventilated carbon braking system. Drawing from a 120kWh battery pack that affords a 325-mile range, the Azani’s EV powertrain generates 1,000hp and 737.5ft-lbs of torque, translating to 2.1-second 0-60mph runs, a 220mph top speed, and giving it the ability to pull two Gs in the corners. The Azani’s bevy of sensors, cameras, and an advanced AI module also afford the hypercar with smart emergency braking, blindspot detection, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assistance, and a collision-avoidance system. The interior also boasts an augmented reality display and what the company calls “advanced morphing seats.” To learn more about Mean Metal Motors’ Azani EV hypercar, you can visit the company’s website linked below.
