The design team at McLaren have once again given us a little sneak peak at what’s to come with their McLaren P1 in these incredible spy shots. The vehicle is gunning for the number one spot of the “ultimate supercar.”

McLaren is a name that has become synonymous with greatness over the years, and the brand continues to outdo itself with their latest prototype in the McLaren P1. The vehicle is seen here in an unfinished format, packing what many presume to be the same 3.8 liter V8 that currently sits in the MP4-12C. The motor will be tweaked completely different than the MP4-12C, and McLaren is looking to squeeze out upwards of 900 horsepower from the same motor. The vehicle will be limited to only 500 units when it hits the scene, with a sky high price tag of about $1.2 million.
