McLaren 570GT Special Operations XP Green Edition

Any fan of McLaren more than likely remembers the famed F1 XP GT ‘Longtail’ built back in 1997. Now, McLaren Special Operations is looking to build six bespoke McLaren 570GT automobiles as a tribute to the famed ‘Longtail’ homologation car.

Each tribute vehicle is slated to come finished with their iconic ‘XP Green’ exterior paint job along with a Saddle Tan leather interior that also features green leather inserts in conjunction with green contrast stitching. Additionally, each tribute hosts a dedication plaque mounted inside the vehicle underneath the infotainment screen as an indication of its place in the collection. The exterior of the car is detailed with saddle tan pinstripes on the aero blades, side skirts, and the rear diffuser, and MSO (McLaren Special Operations) replaced several exterior components of the car – the front splitter, door inserts, side air intakes, side skirts and the car bumper – with all-black iterations for good measure. A fine tribute indeed with prices set for $254,000 per vehicle.
