Category: Gear

Always on the hunt for new ways to slim down your outdoor carry, Matador has developed the FreeRain 24, a waterproof backpack that folds down to fit in the palm of your hand.

Each pack is constructed from durable 30D Cordura nylon, and features a fully waterproof main compartment that utilizes a Hypalon roll top closure and seams to ensure that your gear stays bone dry – even in the worst weather conditions. In its collapsed state, the pack measures in at 5x3x2.5 inches, and weighs just 157 grams, meaning it can stow away in your pocket with ease. The breathable straps feature adjustable top stabilizers for improved ergonomics, and additional dual side pockets provide quick access to your frequently used gear. The pack retails for $60.
