Back in 2017, the renowned audio experts and Master & Dynamic joined forces with one of the world’s most respected camera and optic manufacturers, Leica AG, for a design-focused “0.95 Collection.” Now, the pair have decided to collaborate once again, introducing two new aesthetically-charged updates alongside M&D’s substantial MW65 Active Noise-Cancelling Wireless Headphones and MW07 PLUS True Wireless Earphones.
Inspired by the world’s fastest aspherical lens, the Leica Noctilux-M 50mm f/0.95 ASPH, the pair have opted to introduce the same anodized aluminum and matte black finish to both the MW65 and MW07+, paving the way for handsome gloss detailing and black leather. On their exterior, Leica’s signature red dot marker makes its debut, complementing the peripherals’ cowhide and lambskin earpads. But once you break through the collection’s lavish aesthetic, you’ll find the real treat — high-performance 40mm Beryllium drivers (MW65), variable Active Noise-Cancellation, and over 40 hours of total playtime between charges (MW07+).
