Founded in NYC and headquartered just a block from Madison Square Garden, Master & Dynamic has always had a close connection to all things basketball. In fact, it’s been a dream for M&D founder Jonathan Levine to partner with shoe-making giant Nike. And that dream just came true thanks to a new collaboration surrounding none other than M&D partner, NBA MVP, and Brooklyn Nets superstar Kevin Durant.
Interestingly, the inspiration for this collab is multi-tiered. First, Nike is slated to release two new Zoom KD13 basketball sneakers called Chill and Hype — both done up in vibrant and colorful graphics — which were inspired directly by the connection between basketball and music. To pair with these releases, M&D asked Kevin Durant to design four matching audio devices in the same colorways, based on the MW65 Active Noise-Cancelling Wireless Headphones and MW07 Plus True Wireless Earphones (which come with matching charging cases). Unfortunately, if you want to get ahold of the ultra-limited release, your only opportunity will be via an Instagram giveaway through Master & Dynamic on May 7th, 2020.
