Marvel’s Avengers Portraits By Dave Rapoza

We think the reason you don’t see many superheroes posing for caricatures at amusement parks is simply because, well, these men (and women) are super. And they are heroes. They are just simply above giant eyes, big smiles, and exaggerated noses.

Now these are the kind of portraits worthy of a world-renowned crime fighter. Drawn superbly by artist Dave Rapoza, you can clearly sense the nobility of Thor, the steely resolve of Iron Man, and the dedication of Captain America in these covers. Even that lovable-but-totally-out-of-control wacko the Hulk seems dignified. Hell, we’d be pissed too if gamma rays made everything bigger on us except… well, you know.
