Martin x Sailor Jerry Homeward Guitar

For as long as the two have existed, there’s been an unbreakable bond between art and alcohol — which only became more apparent with the emergence of rock ‘n’ roll over the last century. Now, Sailor Jerry and Martin Guitars are celebrating that connection quite literally with their tattoo-inspired Homeward dreadnought acoustic.

Crafted to even more exacting requirements than their superb collection of standard offerings, this Martin acoustic is built from hand-selected flamed koa, quilted bubinga, and bearclaw sitka spruce woods. But what makes it even more special is that it’s inlayed with artwork from Norman “Sailor Jerry” Collins’ work, “Homeward Bound,” using shell, pearl, and sand-shaded wood. A truly superb and functional piece of art, the Homeward guitar is on sale now for $20,000 — a paltry sum when you consider all the hard work and history that went into it.

Purchase: $20,000
