Marshall Debuts Its First-Ever Pair Of True Wireless ANC-Equipped Earbuds

For nearly 60 years, Marshall has been producing high-quality guitar amps, but they’ve since moved into crafting speakers and audio gear that are largely characterized by their rich, distinctive sound and signature design language. And after previously debuting its first-ever pair of true wireless earbuds back in March, the British audio brand has now revealed the next evolution in this lineup with its inaugural pair of ANC earbuds.

Dubbed the Motif ANC, these new earbuds feature the outfit’s hallmark aesthetics and sound, though they also pack some impressive specs and features, including an active noise cancelation system that features a passive transparency mode and is helped along by solid passive noise cancelation. Each earbud affords a 4.5-hour charge while the wireless charging case yields a collective 20-hours of playback time — or 26 hours of music without ANC. What’s more, both the earbuds themselves and the wireless charging case — IPX5- and IPX4-rated, respectively — can be fully replenished in three hours, though a 15-minute charge will also deliver a full hour of music playback. Booming sound comes from a pair of custom-tuned, 6mm dynamic drivers, which pair with a total of seven microphones for ANC & calls. The model also features an intuitive touch-sensitive control setup and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity. Priced at $199, the Marshall Motif A.N.C. Earbuds are available now, with shipping scheduled to start on September 30. Alongside the Motif A.N.C. model, Marshall has also debuted the third generation of its Minor earbuds, which are now of the true wireless variety.
