Mario Kart Tour

A couple of years back, Nintendo announced that they were creating their first Mario game for mobile devices. Many people panned the idea, but Super Mario Run ended up being a very successful and well-executed foray into the world of phone gaming. Now, the lauded developer is at it again – this time with the Mario Kart franchise.

Slated for a March 2019 release, Nintendo is working on creating what they’ve called Mario Kart Tour – a racing game that will presumably be available on iOS and Android devices, including tablets and smartphones. Unfortunately, apart from that very limited amount of information, there’s not much else out there about the game. We hope, however, that there will at least be a social aspect to the game, because we’d love to toss a blue shell at our friends from half a world away.
