It looks like no one is immune to the Star Wars fever going around. Teaming up with some of our favorite gear brands like SOG Knives & Tools, Heckler & Koch, Trijicon, and SureFire among others, body armor manufacturer AR500 Armor is delving into the galaxy far, far away with their Mandalorian Ballistic Armor.
The suit of armor was inspired by the infamous bounty hunter Boba Fett, and is part of a special initiative by AR500 dubbed GalacTac Project. It was designed by artist Ryan B. Flowers, and will include a helmet complete with T-shaped visor, chest and shoulder armor, along with gauntlets to finish the ensemble. Unfortunately we don’t yet know what the armor is made of, but we’re sure to find out at this week’s Shot Show in Las Vegas – specifically on Wednesday.
