ManCans Candles

A few months ago Yankee took the retail scene by storm when they introduced their Man Candles, essentially candles with man scents like ‘Riding Mower’ and ‘First Down.’

Well after the candles received plenty of publicity, we received plenty of emails about a young boy named Hart Main from Ohio that started a company back in 2010 at the age of 13 with a similar idea. His company is simply called ManCans Candles, but they have an incredible twist. The candles are made from an upcycled soup can that has been filled with natural wax. The best part is that the soup is purchased from a local grocery store then the actual soup itself is donated to a soup kitchen before the candle is made. You can pick up several different scents of the candle from Uncommon Goods.
