Category: Gear

The Nordwand Flex hooded hardshell jacket with a water column of 28,000mm is the ultimate piece of gear for serious winter adventurers. Mammut utilized highly bi-elastic Gore-Tex Stretch through the back and underarms to provide unrivaled freedom of movement in the harshest conditions imaginable. Designed specifically for alpine use, this jacket is bursting with Mammut’s proprietary technology like Vertical Motion Construction and High Reach Technology for optimal ergonomics during movement sequences inherent to ice climbing. Mammut also included their High Visibility Backer Technology to ensure climbers are easy to find in emergency situations and a waterproof YKK Vislon two-way front zipper to keep the frozen elements out.

The storm-proof hood is compatible with climbing helmets while silicon webbing on the jacket’s hem will ensure your gear stays in place. The jacket includes two climbing-harness-compatible front pockets with waterproof zippers and an integrated gear loop to hold essential equipment.
