Magnum MK5 Canadian Supercar
Canada looks to leave their mark on the racing world with their latest track toy, the Magnum MK5. This 6-figure supercar means business, and while it was designed specifically for the race track, it’s also street legal.
The newly introduced Canadian supercar weighs in at 1,200 pounds, and is powered by a 4 cylinder motor (most likely sourced from a motorcycle company) that redlines at 11,000-rpm. The setup is good for 250 horsepower, and the six-speed sequential gearbox along with the LSD lets this sucker sprint to 62 miles per hour in just 3.2 seconds. As we previously mentioned, the Magnum MK5 is street legal, but with minimal storage (a small cargo compartment), no windows, and no roof, it’s not the most practical car on the planet. Expect this open cockpit 2-door to hit the market in limited quantities next year with a sticker price of $139,000.
