Lunaz Introduces The World’s First All-Electric Rolls-Royce Phantom V Car

The future truly is upon us. If like us, you thought that you might rue the day one of the world’s most iconic automotive platforms took on an electrified powertrain, you’re in for an interesting surprise. Amidst the genre’s various innovations and elaborate endeavors, it turns out that Lunaz has its sights set on the evolution of our nostalgia — and more specifically, our memories of the classic Rolls-Royce Phantom.

The brand’s recently-revealed Phantom V is, for all intents and purposes, the world’s first electrified Rolls-Royce. Instead of adapting the vehicle for the modern market, however, Lunaz has opted to keep the Phantom in its retro form, harkening back to the car’s 1961 debut for its stylistic architecture. Leaning on the original’s timeless proportions and shapely curvature, the brand has found a way to introduce a 300-mile-plus, 120 kWh battery pack, a seamless, silent-running powertrain, and original woodwork beneath its 3D-scanned shell. Inside, chauffeured riders will be able to partake in a fully-integrated infotainment system, modernized climate control, integrated media screens, and a personalized bar unit located in the center of the vehicle’s passenger area.
