Everything in the house is getting smarter, so it only makes sense that our beds join the party. Luna’s Smart Mattress Cover is looking to lead this category as they welcome us to the future of sleeping.

That’s right, the future of sleep is finally here, and for you to get a piece of that action is as easy as sliding this cover right on to your current mattress. Luna has been equipped with an array of built-in biometric sensors that are completely discrete and unobtrusive. These sensors do everything from record your body temperature, respiratory and heart rate to warming up the bed on a cold winter night using its dual-zone heaters. All of the sleep information is relayed back to the companion smartphone app (along with recommendations on how to get a better night’s rest). It will even work with your fitness tracker, smart thermostat and smart locks to automatically lock/power everything down as you hit the sack. It’s also equipped with a smart alarm to wake you up at the optimum moment during your sleep cycle, preventing that horrible groggy feeling you get. And when it gets dirty, just toss it into the washing machine. Luna retails for $200. [Purchase]
