By the company’s own estimation, the original Navy SEAL watch from 1994 is the timepiece that put Luminox on the map. The rugged and stealthy watch was built to the SEALs’ specifications and was engineered to withstand the rigors of being on the wrist of the world’s most elite special forces soldiers during their most dangerous missions. The watch has evolved in the ensuing decades and remains a core part of Luminox’s collection, and now the brand has brought back the original Navy SEAL design in a trio of exciting colors.

The Luminox Original Navy SEAL EVO 3000 Series brings back the original spirit of one of the world’s toughest watches while also looking toward the future. The watches are tougher than ever with 200m water resistance, lightweight CARBONOX cases and bezels, and impact-resistant mineral crystals. The lume is outstanding, as is the Luminox way with their trademark Luminox Light Technology that glows for up to 25 years. The always-on tritium gas tubes light up the indices, sapphire bezel pip, and hands — including the high-vis red-tipped seconds hand. The watches are powered by a Swiss-made Ronda quartz movement that is precise, durable, and long-lasting with a 50-month battery life.

There are three versions of the Original Navy SEAL EVO 3000. The Navy Blue color recalls the dress blues worn by the SEALs at official ceremonies and reminds us where the term “navy blue” comes from. The Black Out version, with its stealthy style, really plays up the advantages of Luminox Light Technology. And last but not least, the Old Radium version provides a retro throwback to military watches of old. All three variations of the Original Navy SEAL EVO 3000 are available now from Luminox for $435.

Purchase: $435
