Luminox has long been known for their rugged Navy SEAL tactical watches, and last year the Swiss watchmaker deepened their relationship with the legendary military organization by becoming an official partner of the Navy SEAL Foundation. That partnership includes exclusive collaborative timepieces, and the latest has just arrived in the form of the Luminox Navy SEAL Colormark 3051.GO.NSF.
The watch comes in a stealthy grayed-out colorway that makes it ideal for nighttime missions, with the case, dial, hands, and indices all appearing in similar shades of gray — the monochrome logo is especially striking. The turtle-shaped case is made from Luminox’s lightweight and tough-as-nails CARBONOX material, and the caseback bears the NSF logo. The crystal is hardened mineral glass, which was specifically requested by the NSF because it’s less likely to shatter than sapphire. Nighttime illumination comes courtesy of Luminox’s tritium gas-based Light Technology that glows for up to 25 years, meaning this watch will never leave you in the dark (at least not for a quarter-century). You’re also getting a waterproof rubber strap, a dive bezel, and 200m water resistance — all necessities for the SEALs. You can pick up the Navy SEAL Colormark 3051.GO.NSF now from Luminox for $435.
