Lululemon Current State Short

Lululemon, once simply a staple of the yoga studio, has slowly but surely expanded their offerings to traditional gym-goers, cyclists, and guys looking for comfortable technical apparel for everyday wear. Now, with the release of their new Current State short, the brand is further expanding into the world of surfing.

More than anything else, these board-shorts are engineered to stay on and stay comfortable in heavy surf. This is accomplished in a couple of different ways. First, the fabric used in the shorts is super fast to dry. It also features Lycra fibers for retaining its shape and providing a generous four-way stretch to accommodate all types of movement. Second, the shorts stay put in large part thanks to a flat, breathable waistband. This waistband features special laser-etched vents along the exterior for breathability and fast drying when out of the water. To top all of this off, the shorts feature no inseam, and bonded seams for a non-chafing wear. Bring it on, Summer.
