Lithuanian Hunting Cabin by Devyni Architects

Looking to create the ultimate home away from home, the team at Devyni Architects built this gorgeous cabin for a hunter and his family on a small hill, deep within the Lithuanian forest.

The entire inspiration for the project revolved around hunting and the great outdoors (animals, birds and sun tunes are scattered throughout the property) , and the design team was only asked to do one thing – use local materials and labor when building the retreat. The end result is a modern rustic fusion that includes an open concept dining, living room and kitchen along with one bedroom and bathroom. When you’re looking to unwind after a long day of hunting, a gravel path leads to a separate sauna house.
