Combining both safety and aesthetics, LightMode is back with another round of electroluminescent lights that adhere to motorcycles helmets of any size or shape, thus turning a boring one-dimensional helmet into a lit-up piece of art in a completely customizable manner.

It’s all inspired by the movie TRON, after which founder and CEO Thomas Plywaczewski began developing his own LightMode helmet lights for personal enjoyment. After realizing their potential, however, he took to Kickstarter where the initial project was fully funded in under 12 hours. Now, they’re back with the new LightMode S-Series Kit, a smaller and more aerodynamic version of the original. Each set of lights are water-resistant, come with a detachable controller, utilize a built-in Lithium-ion battery, and are USB rechargeable. They also come with an instructional video, helmet glue, and mounting stickers that allow you to test out different designs before using the glue. They’re available in several different color schemes as well to match your preferred style. Each LightMode S-Series is currently available on Kickstarter and is set to retail for $149 upon full funding. [Purchase]
