LifeStraw Universal

As has become painfully obvious over the course of the past few years, much of the running water in our cities and towns is not actually safe to drink. Thankfully, the LifeStraw Universal is here to put us all at ease.

Made by the same brand that rolled out the popular eponymous backpacking and survivalist filtration tool, this universal adaptor essentially turns your bottle into a portable water filter. All users have to do is fit the tube to one of the four included caps, fill the bottle with water, and screw it closed. While drinking out of it, the LifeStraw Universal will filter out 99.999% of bacteria and protozoa, rendering water from just about any source safe to drink. And thanks to the fact that the caps are compatible with brands like Camelbak, Nalgene, Klean Kanteen, and Hydro Flask – you don’t have to worry about having the ‘right’ bottle on hand.
