We’ve seen a countless number of impressive LEGO feats, but this one could take the cake for the most awesome device ever created using the toy building blocks. This is a life-size car (that actually runs) built entirely out of LEGOs.

Using over 500,000 LEGO bricks, Steve Sammartino and Raul Oaida built this hot-rod inspired machine. Sure this thing looks great, but the fact that it actually runs is what makes it golden. In fact, the LEGO car can reach speeds of up to 20 miles per hour on the street. The 256 piston engine is powered by compressed air, and continues to prove that there is no limit to what you can do with a few (okay more than a few) LEGO bricks. Check out the video below.
