It’s a great time to be a food lover and home cook. Companies throughout the food industry are pouring their resources into developing innovative products that make cooking high-end meals at home easier, simpler, and cheaper. Given the public’s embrace of new, technical cooking forms like sous vide, companies are applying that science to other cooking mediums to get an edge on competitors. One of the biggest standouts in culinary innovation is LG, which just announced a new kitchen duo that has the potential to change home cooking forever.
Just ahead of their worldwide debut at CES next week, LG announced the LG InstaView Double Oven Range and Over-the-Range Microwave Oven. Boasting sleek designs, breakthrough tech, and the new LG ThinQ Recipe service that allows users to research, purchase ingredients, and cook LG Original recipes, the Kitchen Duo sets a new standard for cooking at home. The Double Oven Range features Instaview technology that “lets users see inside an appliance by simply knocking twice on the glass,” which keeps you from opening the oven door and letting the heat escape. LG also integrated the oven with its ProBake Convection technology, which quickly and completely cooks food without preheating. Even cooler, the Double Range Oven includes Air Fry and Air Sous Vide modes, making it one of the more versatile ovens on the market. For the Over-the-Range Microwave Oven, LG employed its proprietary Steam Cook technology, which cooks foods more healthily without drying them out as much. Moreover, it features a Slide-out ExtendaVent to reduce smoke and odors, as well as an EasyClean interior that leverages an advanced coating for easy cleaning.
These stellar products are also LG’s first kitchen appliances to integrate its new LG ThinQ Recipe service, which is an app-enabled device that offers more than 10,000 one-click recipes that will deliver the needed groceries through Walmart and Amazon Fresh. The LG InstaView Double Oven Range and the Over-the-Range Microwave Oven will make their CES debut on January 5, 2022, where hopefully pricing and release information will be revealed.
