LG has proven that it’s adept at making anything smart home-certified. Its latest gadget is arguably the most visually-pleasing air conditioner we’ve ever seen, as it sheds the typical vented design for a 27-inch display. The manufacturer’s ARTCOOL Gallery series is not necessarily brand new, but its latest iteration sets a new standard for the line.

The new model’s LCD screen can be tailored to your liking using LG’s neighboring app, allowing you to choose your own array of photos and display them with ease. Additionally, you can shift through this personal slideshow with the device’s smart remote. Functionally, the new ARTCOOL Gallery uses ups o 70% less power than the standard air conditioner, deeming it an energy-efficient source for cooling and heating all winter and summer long.

Offering seamless compatibility with the LG ThinQ app, you can operate the device’s energy-efficient cooling, heating, and 3-way indirect airflow with the push of a button, making your home as comfortable as can be with practically no effort. Plus, thanks to LG’s newly-implemented AI Dry feature, the air conditioner automatically removes moisture formed inside. Lastly, it works at noise levels as low as 20 decibels, deeming it remarkably quiet and suitable for a good night’s sleep.

Further pricing or release information has not been made clear yet, but we expect to learn more about the new device (and several others) at CES starting January 5.
